What is OneWalmart? ›

The Website is a social networking service operated by Walmart Inc. and its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Walmart," "we," and/or "us") that lets you communicate and share your thoughts and ideas with other Walmart Associates ("you" and/or "Associates").

The GTA Portal is the place to enter your PTO details, see your balance and activity, and enter time off after you've cleared the request with your manager.

You can check your balance of both kinds of PTO on the Global Time & Attendance Portal (GTAP). Need more time away? For full-time associates, PTO works together with short-term disability coverage to support you when you need extended time off due to your own serious medical condition.

To access OneWalmart from a personal device you must enroll in Symantec VIP for 2-Step Verification, even if you are already using a Yubikey and/or Google Authenticator when logging in to your workstation or connecting to VPN.

All associates will start accruing Protected PTO starting day one, at a rate of 17.33 hours to 1 hour for full-time, and 30 hours to 1 hour for part-time, up to 48 hours maximum. This protected PTO can be used at any time for any reason.

Here are the basics of Walmart's attendance point system: ½ point = employee arrives between 15 minutes to 2 hours late for a shift or leaves a shift between 15 minutes to 2 hours early. 1 point = employee calls out of work. 1 point = employee is late for over half their shift.

To find out how many absences or points you've accrued, call the Walmart Disability and Leave Service Center at (800) 492-5678 at any time.

Report your absence daily using the Associate Information Line or the Report an Absence Web Form until the facility receives notifications from Sedgwick. Contact Sedgwick as soon as you are aware of the need for leave but no later than 3 business days after the first day of your absence.

Call 1-800-775-5944 or go to one.walmart.com to report an absence. Provide your Walmart ID Number, date of birth, store number, and any other info requested. If possible, be sure to call in sick at least 3 hours before your shift's start time.

Attendance points are cleared in a rolling 6-month period, and the new system depends on the number of hours worked in a month. This means a maximum of five points can be received at Walmart before termination.

Does Walmart pay your PTO when you quit? ›

What happens to my PTO when I leave Walmart? If you're a facility-level salaried associate and have been with Walmart for at least a year, you will be paid out up to five days of accrued and unused PTO upon termination.

If they request PPTO after an unplanned absence, their request will be automatically approved by the system.
