How To Find A Zara Style Number And Product Code (2024)

Zara is a popular and trendy international fashion company. Zara produces clothing, shoes, and other accessories that their consumers love.

Plus, you can also shop from their home and beauty collections, too. So maybe you have an old Zara item that you love and are wanting to find another one.

Or, maybe you picked up a few Zara pieces on your last thrift haul and are wanting to list them on your online reselling business.

Whatever the case may be, we have multiple strategies for finding a Zara style number that we’re so excited to share with you. In this post, we will go over a whopping 5 different strategies for locating your Zara product code.

Jump to:
  • Zara Inside Tag
  • Zara Price Tag
  • Google Reverse Image Search
  • Keyword Descriptors
  • Zara Website

Zara Inside Tag

The first place that we will look to find our Zara style number is on the inside tag. On Zara clothing items, you will find what looks like a booklet of inner tags.

This is what we will sort through to find the information we are looking for. On this tag, you can find the materials of the item, washing instructions, RN number, and most importantly, the style number.

Look on the inside seam of your Zara clothing item to locate these tags. Once you find these tags, flip to the very back of them. To the right of the barcode, you will see a combination of numbers.

In this example, the tag reads “6929/016/403/ M.” So now let’s decipher this information. When looking for a Zara product code, you will be trying to locate a four-digit number, followed by a backslash, followed by three numbers.

So in this example, the Zara product code is 6929/016. Once you have located this number, type it into a Google search with the brand name. For example, Zara 6929/016.

Ideally, Google would populate results that match your Zara style number. However, this method does not always work for older Zara items.

If this method does not work, we still have a few more strategies to go over so don’t lose hope quite yet!

Zara Price Tag

The next place that we will look for a Zara style number is on the Zara price tag itself. We will conduct this investigation in a similar manner to using the Zara inside tag as we discussed above.

When looking at a Zara brand tag or price tag, you will be looking for the same 4-digit number, followed by a backslash, followed by a 3-digit number. This time, you will look above the barcode.

Many times it is located after where you see the letters “ART.” This is also known as the Zara art number.

Just as we did with the above method, take your Zara style number and input it into Google to see what results are yielded for your search.

However, sometimes the brand tag and inner tags are removed. Next, we will go over strategies for these scenarios.

Google Reverse Image Search

The next method for finding your Zara product code involves performing an image search. First, make sure you have either the Google app or Google Lens app downloaded to your phone.

Next, take a picture of the item. It doesn't have to be a professional portrait, but make sure you capture the entire front of the item. Either have the item on a hanger or lay it flat on the ground.

Next, go to the settings of that photo and find where it says “Search with Google Lens” or upload the photo to one of the apps that we mentioned above. Following this, you’ll start to see results populated on Google that resemble your item.

You may have to scroll around to find your exact item. If you tap on a photo that closely resembles your item, you will see new results populated that hopefully lead you down the right path.

You may see search results from Zara’s website if it is a newer item. Alternatively, you may see results from secondhand marketplaces like Poshmark, eBay, or Mercari.

If this method doesn’t lead you down the right path to your item, we have yet another strategy that we will discuss next.

Keyword Descriptors

With this method of finding a Zara style number, you’ll need a little creativity. You will need to describe the details of your item in a Google search.

Be sure to include the brand, type of item, intended gender, color, sleeve length, pants style, fastening style, neckline, and any other special details about the item that set it apart from others.

Ideally, after you search this phrase, you will start to see results that match the item that you’re looking for.

Zara Website

In addition to using a Google search, you can also use the Zara website search itself to try and find your item. This will only work for very recent Zara items.

In the search bar on the Zara website, you can enter your Zara product code. If the product is on the website, you’ll be able to see the item listing and all of the details about it.

As you can see in the example above, Zara includes the style number on each of their listings. This is yet another great way to find a Zara style number along with other important information about the item.

Now you have a few tricks up your sleeve for finding a Zara product code. With each method only taking a few seconds, be sure to try multiple methods if one does not work.

Each method may give you slightly different results, so see which one ultimately works best for you and your specific item.
